BUMP : A Triptych of 3 Short, Original Plays by a Daring New Company

The newly-founded MILLIONS & MILLIONS theatre company is proud to present the premier staging of BUMP, three original new plays from Portland author Riley Michael Parker. The plays are fast, minimalistic, provocative, and character-driven, linked together by themes of deception, control, and the miracle of life on Earth. Shows begin Thursday, June 11th, and will run through Friday, June 26th.

BUMP is a collection of three distinct plays. In THE PARTY, a man and a woman meet as strangers at the buffet table of an exclusive swinger’s event, and over snacks they begin to reveal deep secrets. In THE SESSION, a man struggling with grief, rage, and guilt visits a kind, empathetic therapist willing to do anything he can to help. In THE WAITING ROOM, we meet Gabby, a woman trying to decide once and for all if she wants to have kids. Together, these plays show the darker side of otherwise normal people, and the inherent love of humanity that’s inside all of us, driving our species ever forward.

MILLIONS & MILLIONS is a brand new company, founded by actors Preston Black, Richard Cohn-Lee, Megan Gotz, Kelly Love, Cris Villa, and writer / director Riley Michael Parker. As a company, MILLIONS & MILLIONS focuses on character-driven stories, and original works. BUMP is their first production.
