In THE FAMOUS PAINTER , four not-quite friends come together at an exclusive house party in downtown Portland, thrown by their mutual acquaintance, Terry, an extremely successful & painfully eccentric visual artist. As the night goes on, old wounds are opened, relationships are challenged, and the future of everything gets called into question.
Starring Colin Keating as The Failed Artist, Megan Gotz as The College Professor, Richard Cohn-Lee as The Aging Finance Bro, Kelly Love as The “Dental Hygienist”, and Cris Villa as The Famous Painter.
The Famous Painter is an original work, written and directed by Riley Parker, and is produced by MILLIONS & MILLIONS, a collaborative play company focused on character-driven, original productions.
