We are casting five roles for three short plays

We are looking for five actors to play three male characters and two female characters, but we are open to casting actors of all gender expressions and identities. Age range is 18-35(ish). Collaborative project. Cast will split all proceeds evenly.

Together, the three plays are called BUMP. They are fast, minimalistic, provocative, and character-driven.

THE PARTY - A man and a woman meet as stranger’s at a party’s snack table, and as they chat they casually reveal intimate details about their lives.

THE SESSION - A therapist struggles to get his new patient to open up and talk about himself.

THE WAITING ROOM - A woman gives a monologue about the miracle of new life, and the burden of living in the modern world.

Themes

At their core, these three plays are about the future, and how to steer it from the present. THE PARTY is about sex, money, and recklessness. THE SESSION is about secrecy, control, and violence. THE WAITING ROOM is about chaos, fate, and late stage capitalism.

All three plays deal with adult themes, and contain adult language.
